SCENARIO - 11 - SEALION 1943 - AXIS - TURN 03

TURN 03 - AXIS

West Fleet: things are going fine, the last destroyer and a Battle Cruiser are sunk, no enemy plane in sight, the whole British Fleet should be destroyed in a couple of turns.
Portsmouth: the 18° Infantry defending the town is hit hard by naval fire and reduced to 1 point strength, while the 41° Spit II is shot down by two Focke Wulfs. Four German units land and next turn the city should fall.
Chatham: hard fighting around the town. Five enemy units are destroyed (infantry, anti-tank, artillery and two planes) and the town is occupied.
East Fleet: 75° and 77° Heavy Cruisers are sunk, together with the last Destroyer, the 73°, now only the Battleship remains, it should be dispatched in one or two turns.

TURN 03 - ALLIES

The counterattack comes, as expected. American planes arrive and attack at full force, together with British remaining units. A JU87 is shot down and a BF109 is damaged, and other units are hit, but enemy planes take heavy damage (16 strength points) and are now under fire from air defenses. Incredibly, on land two PzIVH are destroyed by Churchills and an anti-tank (sic!).
