March 31, 1941. Axis attempts to seize Egypt and the Suez. Can the desert Fox be stopped?

PLAN
There's no sense to defend the undefendable: Axis forces are strong, in great number and all together, the German fleet is in front of Berta, while Allies units are weaker, isolated and scattered, so the place where to make a stand is Tobruk, where most of english forces can rally, including fleet. Axis units will arrive there after some time, piecemeal and scattered, so they will be more exposed to counterattack, and when the balance will turn in favor of Allies, the lost cities will be reconquered. Let's fight!TURN 1 - AXIS
It's an all-out attack, of course. Mersa Brega is taken and the infantry unit destroyed, the anti-tank nearby is also attacked but holds ground. The air defense in the airfield on the road to Benghazi is attacked and reduced to 5 points.
As per plan, see you in Tobruk. The infantry in Benghazi takes the sea, while the air defense goes into town to try and do the same next turn. The other units take the road through the desert, as the coast road is under fire from the German fleet. The units in the east all converge towards Tobruk.
TURN 2 - AXIS
German air force attacks all British units in sight, causing losses but no casualty. The antitank unit still incredibly survives and this undoubtedly delays enemy advance.
TURN 2 - ALLIES
British units around Benghazi try desperately to flee, but it's hard to find a position where enemy won't spot them. Over Tobruk two planes are shot down, an italian fighter and a JU88 level bomber.
TURN 3 AXIS
The english infantry in Benghazi is destroyed, same fate for the artillery unit trying to reach Tobruk and the heroic anti-tank unit. A BF 109 attacks a Hurricane and reduced it to 3 strength points. The German fleet is advancing from the north, the darkest hour is near.
TURN 3 - ALLIES
First thing is to get rid of the enemy planes over Tobruk, as they allow the German battleship to fire on english units, so the BF 109 and the italian level bomber are taken down. Troops gather in Tobruk, now defense is ready to stand against the incoming enemy. Another Matilda II is purchased.
Allies: 1 infantry, 1 artillery, 1 anti-tank.
TURN 4 - AXIS
During Axis turn, a German mounted infantry unit occupies Mechili and the enemy battleship proceeds alone towards Tobruk.
TURN 4 - ALLIES
The English submarine attacks the enemy battleship and inflicts a heavy toll, 7 strength points. The German infantry in Mechili is attacked and destroyed by three Matildas, the town is re-captured. Mosquitoes attack two destroyers and inflict some damage, to weaken them if next turn they will rush to attack the english sub.
TURN 5 - AXIS
Five German planes arrive and attack. The two air defense units which went a long road from Benghazi are destroyed.
TURN 5 - ALLIES
Let's start with planes: a 9 strength points BF 109 is shot down by air defense, the other one is reduced to 1 point. The BF 110 (10 strength points) is eliminated by a single shot of a Mosquito. Hurrah! The italian tactical bomber BA 65 is taken down from 10 to 1 strength point by another single shot of the other Mosquito. The english submarine sinks the battleship. Hurrah! An enemy anti-tank near Mechili is wiped out by Matildas. A Pz IIIE is brought down from 10 to 4 strength points by the third Matilda. Another Matilda II is purchased.
Axis: 1 anti-tank, 1 fighter, 1 tac bomber, 1 capital ship.
TURN 6 - AXIS
The time has come. Twenty-one german units attack. Allies suffer no casualty, but the airfield near Gazala is captured and the pressure is really high, british forces are surrounded.
TURN 6 - ALLIES
A German T-boat and a destroyer are sunk. An italian fighter and a JU 87 are shot down. On land, the Pz III is finished, the German infantry unit occupying the airfield is destroyed, an anti-tank is eliminated, and an sIG IB artillery is finished. A good turn!
TURN 7 - AXIS
Enemy still attacks at full speed, two english infantry units are destroyed, my fault. But the tide is going to turn.
TURN 7 - ALLIES
Two German destroyers are sunk and the enemy light cruiser is taken down from 10 points to 1. Two artilleries at Gazala are destroyed. Two panzers are eliminated near the airport. At Tobruk, one artillery and one anti-aircraft are wiped out.
Axis: 2 tank, 3 artillery, 1 anti-aircraft, 2 destroyers
TURN 8 - AXIS
Tide hasn't turned yet, enemy is still attacking and is dangerous. Two issues: subs and tanks. Subs sink a destroyer and advance, they must be stopped. Tanks attack and reduce Matildas strength. The last enemy light cruiser has a sudden encounter and sinks. It's a hard fight.
TURN 8 - ALLIES
Let's begin by shooting down the last two axis aircrafts, a BF 109 and an italian tactical bomber. An italian M13/40 tank is destroyed to let the damaged Matilda retire and get replacements. A mounted German infantry is reduced from 10 to 1 strength points. An italian AB 40 recon is destroyed. 10th English infantry is disbanded, only 1 strength point. At Tobruk, another italian M13/40 tank is destroyed. A Pz38(t)f is destroyed. At Bardia, two German infantry units are destroyed. A German sub is reduced from 10 to 3 strength points by destroyers and T-boat. Another Matilda and a Daimler recon are purchased.
Axis: 2 infantry, 3 tank, 1 recon, 1 fighter, 1 tac bomber, 1 capital ship.
TURN 9 - AXIS
Axis forces attack, but now the pressure is fading, tide is going to turn, no casualty for english units.
TURN 9 - ALLIES
A German sub is finally sunk, the other one is surrounded. A FlaK unit is destroyed by naval fire. At Gazala airport, a German infantry unit is destroyed by a Hurricane. Matildas attack: a german recon is destroyed, a M13/40, an italian
AB 40, an anti-tank. At Tobruk, a Pz IV is destroyed. Now the tide has turned for good.
TURN 10 - AXIS
Desperate, last attacks. An english infantry unit in Gazala airport is destroyed by two blows by German tanks.
TURN 10 - ALLIES
The last sub is finally sunk by a destroyer. An italian AB 40 recon is destroyed by combined forces. Three Matildas despatch a Pz III which was threatening Gazala airport. a PSW 231 is destroyed by two Daimlers. Another Pz III is eliminated by artillery.
Axis: 1 sub, 2 recon, 2 tank.
TURN 11 - AXIS
Suicide attacks. Nothing happens.
TURN 11 - ALLIES
Along the coastal road to Berta, all resistence is wiped out, an artillery unit and two recons. At Bir Hacheim the last two tanks are destroyed. Now it's a rush to reconquer the objectives.
TURN 12 - ALLIES
Bir Hacheim, Berta, Cyrene, Benghazi airport and Mersa Brega are reconquered. Now on to Italian Camp.
TURN 13 - ALLIES
Now English forces are a horde smashing everything in their way. Benghazi is occupied and also Italian Camp, only a single Pz III remain on the map. This has been real fun.
